What is startup how to build it
A startup is a newly created business built to solve a specific problem with a solution that has the potential to grow and serve many customers. For example, imagine founders and aspiring entrepreneurs have a problem: startup information is scattered across many websites and platforms. A startup could solve this by creating one platform that brings useful founder news, stories, insights, and opportunities together. How a startup is built A startup usually develops through this path: 1. Find a real problem Start with the problem, not the app or product. Ask: Who has this problem? How serious is it? How are they solving it today? 2. Identify your target customer Don't start with โeveryone.โ Define your first customer clearlyโfor example, aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage founders, investors, students, or SMEs. 3. Validate the problem Talk to 20โ50 potential users. Don't simply ask, โDo you like my idea?โ Ask what they currently do, what frustrates them, and whether they would pay for a better solution. 4. Create the solution Design the simplest solution that addresses the main problem. This first usable version is often called an MVP โ Minimum Viable Product. 5. Test the MVP Give it to a small group of real users and observe what happens. Downloads alone don't prove success. Look for people who use it, return, recommend it, or pay for it. 6. Build a business model Decide how the startup makes money. It could be subscriptions, commissions, advertising, paid listings, services, transaction fees, or another model. 7. Find productโmarket fit This is one of the most important stages. You want evidence that a specific group of customers strongly values the product and continues using it. 8. Build a repeatable growth system Once customers genuinely want the product, develop reliable ways to acquire more of them through marketing, sales, partnerships, referrals, communities, SEO, social media, etc. 9. Scale Only after the model works should you aggressively expand the team, technology, marketing budget, geography, and product. So the journey is: Problem โ Customer โ Validation โ MVP โ Users โ Revenue โ ProductโMarket Fit โ Growth โ Scale
